Back Fill

They started back-filling our lot after letting the black paint on the foundation walls dry for a few days.

We showed up to a host of machines were working on our lots.

If you look closely, you can see three diggers. A big yellow one, a medium size white one, and a white/orange bobcat.

They first filled the window wells and the bottom two feet in around the foundation with gravel.

The gravel helps to prevent any type of flooding that may occur. Excess water should drain out to the street land drain system.

Sometimes they were good at getting the gravel in the window wells, and sometimes they weren't as percise.

Next they filled the dirt around the foundation walls. They brought back a lot of the dirt they trucked away when digging the hole.

And everything they did created lots of dust.

Hopefully, the next time we show up, everything will be filled in, just like you see the garage is here.
