On Thursday, September 6th we went back to see the site and were amazed that the foundation
had been poured and that the support structure had been removed.
Seeing the walls take shape has been the most exciting thing so far,
which is why I'm posting tons of pictures!
This picture shows the windows that will one day be in two bedrooms in the
basement and where the walkout stairs from the basement will be.
The door on the left goes to the cold storage/fruit room and the door on the right goes to the exterior stairs.

These three windows are along the back wall of the house and will one day be part of an
open family/game/media room. We won't be finishing the basement during the initial
home construction, but plan to one day down the road.

I remember when our little house was being built and how exciting it was to drive up and be surprised at the progress. It is looking good!
Crazy! I can't believe they can make so much progress so quickly! How fun!!!
